The body of the French 2nd lieutenant J.J. Henri Camus, member of the 3rd Battalion of the Chasseurs d'Afrique. Making his usual horse-ride he had been slain by three unknown Japanese members of the warrior class in the village of Idogaya on October 14th, 1863, which became known as the Idogaya Incident. Here his corpse can be seen lying in the French legation in the port town of Yokohama. He was buried at the Foreigners' Cemetery in the evening of October 15th.Foto van het lichaam van J.J.
